To Inquiry or not to Inquiry...that is the question

Why take the time to Inquiry? Introspection? Review? Assess? Evaluate? I think you get my point. I know like many of you, we are constantly on the move and never take the time to smell the roses. Learning about action research in my masters class made me sit back and pounder.......do I reflect enough and take time to inquire. Action research allows for study of ones own actions. This inquiry then alows us to change.

This got me thinking....big mistake.....

What can I do to use this concept daily? I believe that action research and inquiry are important. I am lucky that as a football coach I get a weekly assessment. Where do I fit inquiry in on a daily basis? One thing I am going to try to do is collaborate with my coaches every day. I would like them to tell me what we can do better. Another thing I am going to try is to link inquiry to working out. I find that is when my mind is clearest. This also makes me take a step back from the grind that I face everyday. Making myself take time out will be good for my body and mind, if I use the time to inquiry as well. MY thoughts of linking my action research with working out in theory sounds good....let see if it works.

Thanks for stopping by and come back again!
